SOMERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ A man accused of leading robberies on gambling houses in Tennessee and Mississippi has also been indicted on murder, robbery and arson charges for the Tennessee robbery in which six gamblers died.
Dennis Harris, 34, of Bolivar, Tenn., was charged by a Hardeman County grand jury with first-degree murder, robbery and arson. His wife, Juanita, 41, was charged with being an accessory to murder and tampering with evidence.
The indictment was returned Monday but was sealed until Harris and his wife could be notified. Both are in federal custody on related charges.

Harris’ attorney, Clay Mayo, said Friday he expected prosecutors would seek the death penalty against his client.

Prosecutors say the conspiracy involved the holdup at the Bolivar cabin and a similar robbery in nearby Senatobia in northern Mississippi in which five poker players were robbed at gunpoint.
Adams has pleaded guilty to the federal robbery charge and to state charges of second-degree murder in the Bolivar deaths in exchange for a 20-year prison sentence. He is expected to testify against his uncle.
Piper has also pleaded guilty to the federal robbery charge.
Adams told authorities five of the slain poker players in Bolivar were tied up and left in the cabin, which Harris then set on fire. He said Harris shot one of the men.
